David K. Schwarz, CPA
David Schwarz founded an M&A due diligence practice in January 2009 which would later become NorthPark Transaction Partners LLC. Before starting the practice, David was a principal and executive director with Ernst & Young LLP’s Transaction Advisory Services practice in Chicago and Kansas City.
David brings over 27 years of experience as a trusted business advisor for corporations and private equity and mezzanine capital investment firms. David has specialized in the service of financial and accounting due diligence since 1997 and has experience leading or assisting management with due diligence on over 250 transactions. A majority of David’s transactional experience includes privately-held, middle market manufacturing, retail, distribution, and service businesses.
He is the author of the article, “Preparing for a strategic transaction or IPO event” and has taught MBA students at Rockhurst’s Helzberg School of Management.
David enjoys playing tennis and practicing volleyball with his daughters.
